About Ft. Benning/Columbus
Established in 1976, Fort Benning is the largest TROY site in the Southeast Region. Its location is in the growing Tri-Communities of Fort Benning, Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The Fort Benning site offers a variety of exciting "in-class" programs. These programs consist of two-year and four-year degrees in the undergraduate program, a graduate program and a continuing education program. Distance Learning is also offered from TROY Fort Benning/Columbus and supports students both locally and around the globe.
Troy University’s Fort Benning/Columbus site also strives to set new trends in education to provide the student with a more well-rounded experience. For example, the Fort Benning/Columbus vicinity locations have recently installed cutting-edge video teleconferencing equipment as a new program-delivery method. This innovation enables the student to experience not only a variety of instructors and classmates, but also the application of a new technology which enhances their skills as they advance their careers. By providing the opportunity to learn not only subject-matter, but also integrated communication methods, TROY’s value-added programs provide a competitive advantage for graduates.
